Peyote Clamshell Pendant

Inspired by =Autumn-beads' 'accidental' peyote shells: [link] and [link] - mine turned out a bit differently, likely because I was fiddling around with single-plane curvature and connecting one section of the tube in a complete circle. The shape itself reminds me of fortune cookies and fancy purses as well as clam shells.

Technique: Tubular peyote stitch, picots (for the loop on top)

Materials: 15/0, 11/0, 8/0, and 6/0 seed beads in various shades of blue and black, 4 mm fire-polished jet AB Czech glass beads, 6 mm black diamond Swarovski crystal bicone beads, Fireline smoke beading thread, black and blue rattail cord, 20 gauge silver-plated wire
